Stories in Motion
Young People's Art Exhibition
1–29 August 2026
Deptford Lounge, London
About the Exhibition
Stories in Motion celebrated the creativity, imagination and unique stories of young artists aged 7–20.
Presented by Travel Through Art Studio in partnership with Ultra Education CIC, the month-long exhibition brought together 52 young artists and 62 artworks at Deptford Lounge, London.
The programme extended beyond the exhibition itself through the Young Creators Fair and an International Creative Exchange with Toronto, Canada, creating opportunities for young artists to share their creativity, stories and perspectives with audiences beyond London.
Exhibition Highlights
Throughout August 2026, Deptford Lounge became a space for young artists to share their stories, creativity and imagination through art.
The exhibition welcomed artists, families, visitors, partners and special guests while giving young creatives an opportunity to have their work presented in a professional public setting.

International Creative Exchange
Stories in Motion celebrates creativity beyond borders through an International Creative Exchange with Toronto, Canada, connecting young artists in London and Toronto through art, culture and shared stories.
The international exchange has been made possible in collaboration with ArtHubs Events, ArtHeart Community Art Centre and Daniels Spectrum, helping to create opportunities for young artists to share their creativity across borders.
Throughout August 2026, Stories in Motion reached more than 1,000 guests in Toronto's Regent Park neighbourhood through the Daniels Spectrum & ArtHubs Hallway Galleries, many of whom were local youth.
Meet the Selection Panel
The artworks featured in Stories in Motion were selected by an independent panel of artists and creative professionals.
Their expertise across illustration, fine art, education and the creative industries helped shape this year's exhibition.
We thank Izrahyel Francis, Katelyn Hutchinson and Alice Mayer for the time, care and creative insight they contributed to the selection process.
