From local exhibitions and cultural festivals in London to international creative exchanges, each moment reflects our belief that children's voices, stories and ideas deserve to be seen, celebrated and shared.

Stories in Motion: Celebrating Stories Through Art & Imagination


Presented by Travel Through Art Studio and Ultra Education, Stories in Motion is a month-long young artists exhibition at Deptford Lounge, London (1–29 August 2026), featuring an International Creative Exchange with Toronto, Canada, the Meet the Artists launch event and the Young Creators Fair.

Windrush Stories at the Big Caribbean Lunch


Delivered in collaboration with Friends of Windrush Square and Just Vibez, celebrating Windrush through community art, tote bag decoration, keyrings, postcards and a collaborative Caribbean Community Map.

Wear Your Creativity: Cap & Card Studio

Delivered in partnership with Ultra Education, Wear Your Creativity encouraged children and families to explore creativity through personalised cap design, handmade cards and creative gifts.

The workshop celebrated imagination, confidence and self-expression through accessible community art.

Stories in Motion: Colourful Stories Bringing Books to Life Through Art


A creative storytelling and art project celebrating books, imagination and self-expression. The project culminated in an exhibition of over 30 artworks displayed at Idea Store Canary Wharf for more than three weeks.

Stories in Motion: Colours of Connection GUSDA Guyana Folk Festival 2026


A children's art exhibition and creative workshop programme presented in partnership with GUSDA as part of Guyana's 60th Anniversary celebrations.

Threads of Connection International Day of Families 2026


Delivered in partnership with Africa Healing Foundation, this creative workshop brought families together through art, storytelling and shared experiences, celebrating connection, identity and community.

Toronto, Canada Exhibition

Children’s artwork from Travel Through Art Studio was exhibited at Daniel Spectrum (Artscape) in Toronto, featuring a participatory postcard workshop. Postcards and bookmarks were donated to the Children’s Book Bank, ArtHeart, and Holland Bloorview Children’s Rehabilitation Hospital to support community creativity.

During the visit, the children also took part in a screen-printing workshop delivered by Social Art Space Studio (SASS) at Youngspace, exploring printmaking and community art practice.

Africa Healing Foundation - Creative Donation Engagement

Artwork created by young artists was shared through a creative donation postcard initiative with Africa Healing Foundation, supporting reflection on wellbeing, storytelling, and the impact of sharing art within community health contexts.


Vienna, Austria Cultural Exchange

Children’s artwork was shared through an informal showcase across cultural venues in Vienna, including the Donauturm and Kindermuseum in MuseumsQuartier.

The visit also included musical contributions during a wider cultural exchange connected to Make-A-Wish Austria.

Ripley Arts Centre – Art Explorers Exhibition


A public children’s art exhibition celebrating creativity and imagination, featuring work by young artists from the community alongside children connected to Travel Through Art Studio.

Buckingham Palace

Our talented 8-year-old artist impressed many at Buckingham Palace during the Royal Collection Trust's Home Educators Day. Olivia's striking sketch of Rubens' self-portrait caught the attention of Will Graham, Learning Manager, who remarked: "Whilst walking through the Picture Gallery, my eye caught this very impressive sketch by Olivia!"

City Hall Exhibition - Black History Month

Our 9-year-old artist's work was curated by the GLA (Greater London Authority) and exhibited alongside 14 other professional adult artists for the Mayor of London's Black History Month event "My Roots, My Story" at City Hall.

Community Workshops

Creative workshops delivered in partnership with Ultra Education’s Youth Market programme at Leadenhall Market and Brixton Department Store in London. Children and families took part in hands-on creative activities including postcard art, candle decoration, and Caribbean-inspired wreath making.

These free public workshops encouraged creativity, community participation, and youth enterprise through Ultra Education’s market programme.

2026 – Growth, Partnerships & Creative Exchange

2026 has been a landmark year for Travel Through Art Studio. From community workshops and local exhibitions to international creative exchanges, we have deepened our community roots, expanded our partnerships, and opened new opportunities for young artists to share their creativity with the world. This year has seen us grow into a nationally and internationally connected arts organisation, delivering exhibitions, workshops, literacy projects, cultural collaborations and creative exchanges across London and beyond.

Stories in Motion: Celebrating Stories Through Art & Imagination – Deptford Lounge August 2026 | Presented by Travel Through Art Studio and Ultra Education, Stories in Motion is a month-long exhibition at Deptford Lounge, London, bringing together young artists, families, educators and community partners through storytelling, creativity and cultural exchange. The programme includes a curated exhibition, Meet the Artists launch event, Young Creators Fair and an International Creative Exchange with Toronto, Canada, providing young artists with opportunities to exhibit their work, connect with other young creatives, participate in international cultural exchange and develop their creative confidence.
Stories in Motion: Colourful Stories – Idea Store Canary Wharf May 2026 | Delivered during half-term as part of the National Year of Reading 2026, this programme brought storytelling and visual art together to encourage reading, imagination and self-expression among children and families. The project culminated in a public exhibition featuring over 30 artworks on display at Idea Store Canary Wharf for more than three weeks.
Stories in Motion: Colours of Connection – Guyana Folk Festival May 2026 | Presented in partnership with GUSDA as part of the Guyana Folk Festival, this exhibition celebrated Guyana’s 60th Anniversary of Independence through children’s artwork inspired by culture, identity, heritage and storytelling. The programme also included a Fan Studio Cultural Art Workshop exploring creativity through the lens of Guyanese heritage and community.
International Creative Exchange – London & Toronto, Canada February 2026 onwards | Children’s artwork from Travel Through Art Studio was exhibited at Daniel Spectrum (Artscape) in Toronto, alongside a participatory postcard workshop. Wear Your Creativity – Ultra Education Creative workshops delivered in partnership with Ultra Education at Leadenhall Market, where children and families designed personalised caps, greeting cards and creative gifts while building confidence, creativity and entrepreneurial thinking.
Stories in Motion: Open Call for Young Artists – Ultra Education Launched in partnership with Ultra Education, this open call invites young artists to submit their work for inclusion in the Stories in Motion programme — offering a meaningful pathway for emerging talent to gain recognition, build confidence and share their creative voice with wider audiences.
Threads of Connection & Creative Marbling – Africa Healing Foundation Delivered in partnership with Africa Healing Foundation as part of International Day of Families, these programmes wove together creativity, cultural identity and community belonging. Hands-on marbling workshops created a joyful, inclusive space for mothers, babies and families — where art became a shared language across generations.
Windrush Stories – Big Caribbean Lunch Delivered in collaboration with Friends of Windrush Square and Just Vibez, this community art programme celebrated Windrush heritage through storytelling, creativity and hands-on activities including tote bag decoration, keyrings, postcards and a collaborative Caribbean Community Map.
Just In Carnival Collaboration A joyful collaboration supporting family carnival arts initiatives and children’s carnival-inspired artwork — celebrating the energy, culture and community spirit of carnival through the eyes and hands of young artists.
Community Markets & Pop-Ups Young artists have showcased and sold their artwork, greeting cards and creative products at community markets including the Tonbridge Dragon Boat Race & Food Festival and Ultra Education Youth Markets, encouraging confidence, creativity and youth enterprise.
