About Travel Through Art Studio

Travel Through Art Studio is an independent creative initiative centred on children’s self-led artistic exploration, supported through thoughtful facilitation, shared learning, and creative guidance.

The studio celebrates children’s voices and creative journeys, creating space for confidence, curiosity, and expression to grow through art, storytelling, cultural exchange, and community engagement.

What began with our own children’s creative exploration has expanded to include workshops, travelling exhibitions, collaborative projects, and international showcases across the UK, Europe, and North America.

Children are encouraged to follow their own ideas, develop their own styles, and explore storytelling through art in open, welcoming environments where their work is valued beyond the studio.

Our Mission

We believe every child has a unique voice worth celebrating.

Through art, poetry, music, and hands-on creative experiences, Travel Through Art Studio supports children to say:

“This is my work,”

with confidence and pride.

Our mission is to nurture creativity, build self-belief, and create meaningful opportunities for children to share their perspectives with wider audiences — locally, nationally, and internationally.

What We Do

Travel Through Art Studio works across visual art, storytelling, and community engagement.

Our activity includes:

• Child-led creative workshops and community events
• Travelling exhibitions of children’s artwork in public and cultural spaces
• International showcase and cultural exchange programmes
• Original artwork transformed into prints, cards, calendars, and gifts
• Pop-up markets and exhibition showcases
• Creative collaborations with charities, councils, schools, and cultural organisations
• Live art, poetry, and music shared alongside exhibitions

Children’s artwork has been shared in community venues, cultural institutions, and international settings including:

Toronto, CanadaStories in Motion exhibition at Daniel Spectrum (Artscape), including a participatory postcard workshop and community art donations
Vienna, Austria — International cultural showcase across MuseumsQuartier and Donauturm
London, UK — City Hall exhibition curated by the Greater London Authority
Buckingham Palace — Recognition by the Royal Collection Trust

These experiences allow young artists to see their work recognised and valued beyond the studio environment.

Community & Charitable Engagement

Alongside exhibitions and workshops, Travel Through Art Studio supports charitable and community-focused organisations through creative donation initiatives.

In Toronto, Canada, community outreach included the donation of 300 postcards and bookmarks to Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, alongside creative engagement with Social Art Space and contributions to the Children’s Book Bank.

Through a creative donation initiative with Africa Healing Foundation, children’s artwork travelled internationally to Kandara, Kenya — demonstrating how young artists’ voices can cross borders and contribute meaningfully to community wellbeing, creativity, and storytelling.

Creative collaborations have also supported GOSH Arts, Ultra Education, The Black Curriculum, Just In Carnival, and other community arts programmes.

Recognition & Cultural Engagement

Children’s artwork connected to Travel Through Art Studio has been recognised and shared across public, cultural, and community settings, including:

• Recognition by the Royal Collection Trust at Buckingham Palace
• Exhibition at City Hall for the Mayor of London’s Black History Month programme
• International exhibitions in Canada and Austria
• Cultural engagement through arts workshops, music collaborations, and cross-cultural craft experiences

From exhibitions and workshops to community events and international showcases, Travel Through Art Studio continues to grow through shared creative journeys led by children’s ideas and voices.
