Workshops, Community & Travelling Exhibitions

Travel Through Art Studio is a children-led creative practice where young artists share their work through exhibitions, workshops, and community partnerships, supported through facilitation, shared learning, and creative guidance.

The studio began through our own children's creative exploration and has naturally grown to include other young artists through workshops, community events, and travelling exhibitions. From local activity across Brixton and Bromley to pop-up markets, schools, libraries, villages, and international showcases, children's artwork is shared in public spaces where it can be seen, discussed, and enjoyed.

Through workshops, community events, and exhibitions that travel into public space, children's artwork moves beyond the studio into homes, schools, libraries, and cultural settings — bringing creativity, confidence, and storytelling to wider audiences.

Recent Highlights

Our young artists are travelling through the arts in many forms — from visual artwork recognised by the Royal Collection Trust at Buckingham Palace and curated for the Mayor of London’s Black History Month exhibition at City Hall, to poetry and creative presentations at community events with The Black Curriculum and Just In Carnival. The work also includes custom artwork created for Pointe Black Drama Productions’ dancers, collaborative projects with GOSH Arts and Ultra Education, and donation-led creative initiatives with organisations such as Africa Health Foundation, where gifted artwork has inspired new creative responses by children.

Children’s creativity has also been shared internationally through informal exhibition showcases and live violin performances in Vienna, including contributions connected to Make-A-Wish Austria. Through painting, poetry, music, and hands-on creative activity, Travel Through Art Studio brings families together and shares children’s voices through workshops, community events, and travelling exhibitions across communities and cultures.
